Calling all designers, entrepreneurs and all of those who just don’t know where to start.
In recent months it’s occurred to me that I’m most happy when making apps, which is a somewhat strange notion for a web developer.
However there’s something magical about having something you made just a tap away. It makes you feel like you’ve crafted something solid that will never go away. Maybe it’s the excitement of being approved by the AppStore or just simply shipping something that works everywhere, however your own iOS app is just something everybody should experience.
So the promise is simple, I will develop your iOS app for free so you too without any coding knowledge can enjoy that experience!
There are a few rules of course however they are simple…
It must be your own idea, not a piece of client work that you intent to make a fortune by having built for free
I’m not going to make you a carbon copy of an existing app
It must useful, you need to be able to answer the question of ‘why should I make this’ with ‘because I need it’ or ‘it will make my life better’
Ideas must come in the form of a wireframe and a brief description of what it does and why it’s awesome
Extra credit will be given for apps that look like iOS apps and aren’t some horrible UI mess that could have been an Nokia app.
The only real selling feature you have is an icon and the app name. So ideas submitted with at least an idea of an icon will be favored !
I WILL NOT make a blackberry, android, Nokia, windows or any other stupid platform app, they are pointless platforms and unless the app is stupidly successful on the iPhone they aren’t worth talking about.
Any profits (if it’s not a free app) will be split 50/50 :)
